Job Description:

The Global Brand Lead, Navtemadlin (GBL, Nav) is a senior commercial leader responsible for shaping and delivering the brand strategy for Navtemadlin, a Phase 3 oncology therapeutic in late-stage development. Based in the US, this role leads integrated brand planning, translates asset strategy into clear commercial priorities, and mobilizes cross-functional global, regional, and US teams to support late-stage development, launch readiness, and long-term brand value.

Reporting to the Asset Lead, Navtemadlin, the GBL is especially critical where disciplined late-stage development planning, strong launch execution, and deep understanding of the US oncology market are required. The Brand Lead will bring strategic marketing expertise, strong scientific and commercial acumen, and the ability to lead through influence across Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Insights, Finance, Supply, Legal, Business Ethics, Digital / Customer Experience, and priority affiliate teams.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, externally oriented, and execution-focused leader with demonstrated late-stage development and launch experience in oncology; hematology experience is preferred.

WHAT - Main Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Portfolio Leadership

  • Develop and execute the integrated brand strategy for Navtemadlin to maximize long-term asset value and patient impact.
  • Translate portfolio and asset objectives into clear commercial priorities, strategic initiatives, and measurable business outcomes.

Launch & Growth Execution

  • Lead late-stage development commercialization planning and launch readiness activities for a Phase 3 oncology therapeutic, with a strong focus on US market requirements.
  • Drive lifecycle management strategies that accelerate growth, expand market opportunities, and sustain brand performance.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead and influence a global matrix team across Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Finance, Supply Chain, and other key functions.
  • Build alignment across global and local stakeholders to ensure effective decision-making and execution.

Customer & Market Insight

  • Leverage customer, patient, competitor, and market insights to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and inform strategic choices.
  • Ensure strategies are grounded in evolving market dynamics and stakeholder needs.

Performance & Governance

  • Define performance metrics, monitor results, and drive course corrections to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure all activities are executed in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

HOW - Knowledge & Experience

Education / Certifications:

  • BA/BS (undergraduate degree) in business or life sciences is required
  • MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

Knowledge & Experience (essential):

  • 15+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, including global or regional marketing, brand strategy, asset strategy and launch leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated late-stage development, pre-launch, and global launch experience, including in the U.S
  • Experience in oncology and especially in hematology is preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing global brand strategies in collaboration with Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Development, and Commercial functions.
  • Strong understanding of launch readiness, lifecycle management, evidence generation, market access across major markets, and global-to-local execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional, cross-cultural matrix teams with and without direct authority.

Compensation

The annual base salary range for this position is $232,500 - $320,000

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentives program. The pay range displayed above is the range of base pay compensation within which Ipsen expects to pay for this role at the time of this posting. Individual compensation within this range depends on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge and demonstrated skills.
