Who We’re Looking For

    Arootah is seeking experienced Chief Investment Officers, portfolio leaders, and senior investment executives to join our advisor network and support clients across the alternative investment landscape. 

      

    As part of the network, you may be engaged with hedge funds, private equity firms, and family offices to provide strategic, project-based leadership across investment strategy, portfolio construction, risk management, and asset allocation. 

Core Areas of Expertise

    • Setting and overseeing investment strategy, portfolio construction, and asset allocation across client mandates 

    • Leading manager selection, investment due diligence, and ongoing monitoring of underlying positions 

    • Establishing risk management frameworks, exposure limits, and performance measurement standards 

    • Partnering with leadership and investment committees to align portfolios with client objectives and risk tolerance 

    • Evaluating new investment opportunities, strategies, and market dislocations across asset classes 

    • Overseeing investment operations, reporting, and governance to institutional standards 

What You Bring

    • Prior experience leading investment strategy, portfolio management, or capital allocation within hedge funds, private equity firms, family offices, or institutional asset managers 

    • Deep understanding of multi-asset portfolio construction, risk management, and manager selection 

    • Proven track record of delivering risk-adjusted returns and executing investment decisions with measurable impact 

    • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including investment committee and LP engagement 

    • Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in dynamic markets
