WHOOP is hiring an FP&A Manager to serve as the finance business partner to our rapidly growing Wholesale organization. In this role, you will partner closely with Wholesale leadership to drive forecast accuracy, inform key commercial decisions, and improve the efficiency and profitability of the channel through disciplined financial planning, margin management, and analysis. You will bring together detailed financial modeling and strategic thinking to provide greater visibility into business performance while helping strengthen the finance infrastructure and processes that support the continued growth of Wholesale at WHOOP.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the Finance business partner to the Wholesale organization, providing actionable financial and strategic insights to drive growth, efficiency, and profitability
Own and enhance financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and re-forecasting for Wholesale, including revenue, units, gross margin, and key operational drivers across retailers and products
Drive forecast accuracy and accountability by identifying key variances, risks, and opportunities and translating evolving business performance into an updated financial outlook
Own and optimize wholesale margin management and channel economics, maintaining visibility into retailer profitability and identifying opportunities to improve financial performance
Leverage and refine financial models and analytical frameworks to inform key commercial decisions, including new retailer partnerships, geographic expansion, pricing and promotions, and assortment strategy
Support the transition to an EPM system and continued maturation of core finance infrastructure, implementing process and reporting improvements that increase scalability, accuracy, and structure as the business grows
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or another highly analytical finance role
Strong financial modeling and forecasting skills, with demonstrated ability to translate business performance into forward-looking plans and actionable insights
Strong understanding of revenue, gross margin, and channel economics, including the impact of pricing, product mix, promotions, and other drivers of profitability
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; experience with EPM systems, SQL, Python, or other analytical tools is a plus
Strong analytical and commercial judgment, with the ability to identify key business drivers, evaluate tradeoffs, and inform complex decisions
Highly effective, unbiased communicator with the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences. Can articulate complex data clearly to a diverse range of stakeholders.
Highly proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and able to identify opportunities, take initiative, and drive projects forward.
Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions
This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

At WHOOP, we view total compensation as the combination of base salary, equity, and benefits, with equity serving as a key differentiator that aligns our employees with the long-term success of the company and allows every member of our corporate team to own part of WHOOP and share in the company’s long-term growth and success.
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000-$190,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.
In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.
These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
