About Roboto

Roboto is the analytics engine for Physical AI. Robotics teams produce massive amounts of multimodal data from cameras, lidars, IMUs, motors, and batteries, and most have no good way to make sense of it. We ingest every robotics log format, automate the analysis, and surface the failures and patterns that actually matter, so teams can ship reliable robots at any scale.

We started from a different premise than the rest of the field. Robotics teams aren't bottlenecked by visualization. They're bottlenecked by analysis. So before we built another dashboard, we built the engine underneath: one SDK that reads every robotics log format natively, configurable agents that triage failures automatically, and search that works across a fleet, not one log at a time. That's our moat.

Role Overview

This Founding Account Executive role is a mixture of technical understanding, vision, partnership, and value-driven strategy.

You'll be a key driver of opportunities through the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and deal execution to long-term account growth. You'll work with engineers, founders, and customers shipping drones, surgical robots, and more into production.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in early-stage environments, loves building from zero, and is excited to help define how Roboto's analytics engine gets deployed across industries.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle. From cold outbound to signed contract. You find your way to the right buyers, earn their trust, and close.

  • Generate your own pipeline. You're a hunter who builds from zero. Outbound, events, partner channels, open source community, whatever works.

  • Become a product expert. Run technical discovery, demo credibly to engineering and product teams, and translate platform capability into a clear business case.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor. Deeply understand your customers' priorities and help them deploy automated analytics in ways that actually move their business forward.

Who You Are

  • A genuine hunter. You create your own pipeline, move deals forward with urgency, and don't wait to be told what to do next.

  • Technically fluent. You sell to engineers and can hold your own in a technical conversation. You understand APIs, SDKs, and developer workflows, and you can pick up new technical concepts quickly. Familiarity with robotics, ROS, PX4, or sensor data is a plus, but the curiosity to learn matters more than the prior exposure.

  • Customer-obsessed. You care about outcomes, not just signatures, and you build relationships that last beyond the close.

  • Energized by hard problems. Bespoke deals, new verticals, and undefined playbooks don't intimidate you. They motivate you.

  • A sharp communicator. You write clearly, present with confidence, and adapt from a platform engineer to a C-suite exec.

Why Join Roboto

  • Roboto sits at the center of the Physical AI stack. You're not just selling software, you're working alongside engineers building the infrastructure that lets robots run reliably at scale.

  • Robotics is at an inflection point. The companies that win the next decade will define the category, and you'll be one of the first commercial hires helping shape that.

  • Direct exposure to how frontier robotics gets built and deployed at scale, across drones, surgical devices, and autonomous vehicles.

  • Competitive compensation with meaningful equity and real performance upside. We want to build a small, high-performing team that has real ownership.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
