Forum's Venture Studio is a leading early-stage fund and program for B2B SaaS startups. Starting a company is demanding, complex, and psychologically challenging. As former founders and early-stage operators, we understand firsthand that Founders need support, honest feedback, and someone who truly cares in their corner.

Our mission is to make the journey easier and more successful for Founders, and we've achieved this by making over 350+ seed investments that have raised $600M+ in follow-on funding. Forum founders have gone on to raise from funds like Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, Uncork Capital, 8VC, Founders Fund, Menlo Ventures, Canaan, Bowery Capital, Susa Ventures, SV Angel, and more.

We’re looking for a Founder/CEO to lead a venture focused on bringing Voice AI to highly regulated industries. While general-purpose AI voice solutions are gaining traction, sectors like healthcare, finance, insurance, and commerce require specialized, compliance-driven applications. This platform will leverage advanced audio language models and real-time AI agents to automate documentation, streamline claims processing, and enhance customer interactions—all while meeting strict regulatory standards such as HIPAA and financial compliance.

What are we exploring?
Voice AI is revolutionizing customer interactions and workflow automation, yet highly regulated industries remain underserved. While horizontal AI voice solutions gain traction, sectors like healthcare, finance, insurance, and commerce require specialized, compliance-driven applications. From HIPAA-compliant clinical assistants to AI-powered fraud detection and secure voice authentication, the demand for tailored Voice AI solutions is rising.

We’re building industry-specific Voice AI applications that enhance efficiency while meeting strict regulatory standards. By leveraging advanced audio language models and real-time AI agents, our platform will automate documentation, streamline claims processing, and optimize customer interactions.

Forum derisks and accelerates the Founder path by:

  • A $250K USD investment, and an end-to-end fundraising playbook and network to raise your seed and Series A

  • A validation partner with proven playbooks, networks, and the systems to validate, unlock your ICP, ignite your sales pipeline, and beyond

  • The support of our experienced operating team - from business design, product development, growth, recruitment, legal and more

  • Executing a winning GTM strategy to get to $50-100K ARR, and the right MVP to ensure early traction

  • A community full of mentors, peers, and leaders

  • $100K worth of business perks

What you bring:

  • Deep expertise in AI, speech technology, or enterprise automation, with a strong understanding of compliance challenges in industries like healthcare, finance, or insurance.

  • Experience in product development or engineering leadership, ideally within AI, voice technology, or automation-driven environments.

  • A track record of driving innovation in high-stakes or regulated industries, such as healthcare, financial services, insurance, or enterprise software.

Please note, this is not an employment opportunity with Forum Ventures.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
