Partner with the best

As Flow Path Engineer, within the ISOP Program, you will deliver engineering and scientific efforts related to the design of new products and services and new designs for customer projects. Moreover, you will deliver projects through the design, verification, production and, if required, commercialization stages. It is a cross-disciplinary organization executing projects to support technology portfolio strategy. Coordinates closely with Discipline, Research, and Testing teams as needed.

You will responsible for:

  • Exploring the optimization of the turbine flow path including inlet chamber, flow path, gland seals, tip seals and diffuser to maximize the performance of the machine
  • Assessing and quantifying secondary losses in sCO2 turbines and investigate the impact of low aspect ratio blading.
  • Evaluating strategies to enhance the mechanical and rotodynamic integrity of highly loaded blades.
  • Producing off-design performance maps for the optimized flow path

Partner with the best

To be successful in this role you will: 

  • Hold a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Related fields
  • Have proven experience in FEM and CFD Analysis
  • Have relevant experience in aerodynamics and thermodynamics
  • Be fluent in English
