SS&C Technologies Inc., a world leading provider of comprehensive financial management systems and services is looking for an experienced individual to join the firm’s SalesConnect team in the role of a DCIO Supervisor.  The DCIO Supervisor is a key, client facing role, ensuring our asset management clients receive optimal value when implementing DCIO Recordkeeping sources.   

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of the retirement channel, recordkeeping and distribution platforms, and the reporting needs of asset management companies. In addition to managing associates in the US and abroad, one of the primary responsibilities will be assisting with small and large scale implementations of new recordkeeping sources for the SalesConnect team to consume. They will be responsible for documenting requirements and working with the internal Blue Prism team to create and refine automation processes. The role will also include end to end testing of the Blue Prism outputs including loading to our beta application. Advanced Excel skills (or other analytical tools) are required and any JIRA experience would be a plus.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Lead Operational Activities: Supervise, support, and perform multidisciplinary, complex tasks related to mutual funds, alternative products, and operational support, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvement initiatives by solving problems, optimizing controls, refining product and service utilization, and enhancing process flows.
  • Project Leadership: Lead and contribute to projects, including system conversions and implementations, ensuring successful integration into operations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work horizontally across various departments to understand how different business areas interact and impact one another. Foster positive relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers such as banks, fund accounting agents, and broker-dealers.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and mentor business support representatives, providing guidance on limited-scope issues. Offer direction, evaluate problems within established procedures, and assist with daily activities.
  • Employee Development: Mentor and train team members, helping them grow in their roles and ensuring they understand and apply the best practices and internal processes.
  • Recommendation of Process Improvements: Evaluate existing procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend new strategies to achieve team and organizational goals.

What You Will Bring:

  • Education: Master's degree, Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience, or high school diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in mutual funds, alternative products, and financial operations. Prior experience in managing a team is preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge of financial products and operations within the investment management industry.
  • Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to navigate complex business systems and foster strong relationships with key stakeholders.
