Who You’ll Work With:

Working on the AllianceBernstein Private Wealth Management Commissions team offers a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of markets, client strategy, and advisor productivity within a highly respected global investment firm. The role provides deep exposure to the full economics of the wealth management business—how advisors generate value, how client relationships translate into revenue, and how compensation structures drive longterm growth. It combines handson administration and analysis of advisor commission programs with strategic insight into how advisor productivity drives firmwide performance. By supporting the calculation of commissions, managing related accruals, and ensuring clear, accurate documentation of compensation outcomes, this role plays a critical part in maintaining operational precision and advisor confidence. You also partner closely with senior teams across the business, leadership, finance, accounting, and payroll, gaining institutional knowledge and becoming a key contributor to decisions that shape the business. What You’ll Do:

Strategic Exposure & Business Insight

  • Contribute to strategic initiatives by analyzing compensation trends, identifying process improvement opportunities, and helping inform decisions that shape the future structure of advisor incentive programs.
  • Build expertise in the full economics of the wealthmanagement business and how compensation shapes advisor behavior.

Compensation & Commissions Support

  • Assist with preparing, reviewing, and validating Private Wealth Management commissions.
  • Support quarterly compensation cycles by gathering inputs, processing commissions, and reviewing outputs.
  • Respond to advisor and internal partner inquiries, becoming a trusted resource on compensation topics

Systems & Data Support

  • Work handson with key systems such as Varicent to validate compensation calculations and support testing.
  • Assist with data pulls, reconciliations, and audit requests that strengthen reporting integrity.

Accounting & Payroll

  • Help prepare payment files, track deadlines, and ensure all required approvals are secured.
  • Assist with preparing and reviewing commission accruals.
  • Reconcile compensation data between commission systems and accounting records.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in finance, compensation, accounting, payroll, or analytical roles
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets
  • Strong Excel and financial systems skills
  • Ability to follow established processes and document work clearly
  • Exposure to sales compensation or incentive programs
  • Familiarity with financial systems or reporting tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
