Revenue Accounting & Operations Analyst

As a Revenue Accounting & Operations Analyst, you’ll assist the sales and customer success teams within Rapid7’s quote to cash process and are responsible for assisting with the implementation of new Go-To-Customer initiatives. You will work in coordination with our finance, legal, sales operations, and IT teams on both day-to-day activities, as well as on process efficiency projects. You will also play a key role in training our sales and customer success teams on company policies and in enabling the Revenue Accounting & Operations team on new Go-To-Customer initiatives.
Assist Go-To-Customer teams with the following:
Pre-quoting evaluation of potential deal structures
Quoting with non-standard language for unique deal structures
Custom billing schedule language
Future pricing and custom renewal language
Structuring of renewal/upsells deals
Execution of quotes for limited time sales promotions
Investigate customer transaction history to in order to assist with the structuring of deals
Serve as a liaison to Go-To-Customer teams on financial metrics and related follow-up
Develop training materials and assist with sales rep and Revenue Accounting & Operations team member enablement
Assist with the implementation of Go-To-Customer initiatives including new products and new sales promotions
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support the quote-to-cash process
Build relationships with internal partners to resolve issues in a timely fashion and make recommendations to continually improve processes and increase efficiency
Develop and maintain process and policy documentation
Assist in various initiatives such as system improvements and international expansion
Assist with special projects as needed by Management
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in order management or an operations role
BA/ BS in Accounting or Finance degree from 4 year college or university or equivalent experience
Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
Strong commitment to working with a team, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining professionalism is required
Effective and decisive under pressure
Independent/flexible problem-solver with ability to positively cope with change
Strong organizational skills, concise documentation skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
