Global Payroll Manager
Sitting in Rapid7's Boston Headquarters, we are looking for a passionate individual to manage and oversee the payroll function for our US and International locations for an employee base of 1000+ and growing.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage the global payroll team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of US and international payrolls.
- Oversee the entire payroll process, from maintaining the system setups, through payroll tax deductions, equity processing, reconciliations, and reporting for a 800+ US payroll and 200+ international payroll.
- Partner with 3rd party Global Payroll Providers with locations in APAC and EMEA regions consistent with with local country tax regulations.
- Drive end-to-end process improvements utilizing expertise of global payroll, benefits, and tax procedures for continuous improvement. Redesign operational procedures as needed to capitalize on efficiencies.
- Perform monthly/transactional SOX review to ensure payroll processes are compliant with established department controls.
- Manage and audit country specific annual and ongoing requirements of payroll in preparation of following calendar year reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with all levels of the organization including building strong relationships with groups who partner with Payroll. Actively manages providers with clear communications around expectations and partner to streamline processes.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree and 6-8 years of in-depth Payroll work experience overseeing complex domestic and international global payrolls required. At least 3 years of proven leadership managing multiple international payrolls outside the US.
- Experience with 3rd party payroll and tax vendors strongly preferred.
- Prior experience processing equity from a payroll perspective.
- ADP experience required. ADP Workforce and Stream-line Now experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, managing multiple tasks concurrently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with internal customers required.
