The Financial Analyst Intern will report to the Senior Financial Analyst and support the Finance and Accounting teams with insights gained from analyzing company data. The ideal candidate will be proficient in working with large data sets to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement.

This role requires the ability to translate financial data into meaningful reports, dashboards, and presentations using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other Microsoft Office applications. The candidate should be comfortable interpreting financial information and communicating findings to stakeholders to support business decision-making. The right candidate will have a strong interest in financial analysis, attention to detail, and a passion for uncovering insights that improve business performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities to leverage financial data to support business decisions.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Prepare financial analyses using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and monitor financial performance.
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports for senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Basic understanding of financial concepts such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret data and present insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow in a financial analysis role.

Pay Range

20.00 - 20.00 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
