We’re at the forefront of cancer research in Africa, headquartered in Accra, Ghana with footprints in North, East and West Africa. We use cutting edge immunogenomics, bioinformatics and artificial intelligence to accelerate the development of cancer detection and cure strategies, ultimately with the goal of lowering the economic burden of cancer on the African continent.
We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Intern to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting and financial operations. This internship offers hands-on exposure to financial processes, reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with data entry and updating financial records
- Assist in tracking expenses and preparing expense reports
- Assist with bank reconciliations and financial documentation
- Maintain organized financial records and filing systems
- Provide general administrative support to the finance team
- Support audits and compliance-related documentation when required
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
