The Role

We’re looking for a Field Marketer to build and scale a high-impact field marketing engine that drives pipeline and revenue from small and regional Senior Living operators nationwide.

This role owns the strategy, execution, and performance of Further’s presence at regional, state, and niche Senior Living conferences and association events. You’ll sit at the intersection of Marketing, Sales, and the Senior Living community—turning in-person conversations into measurable demand.

This is more than event execution. It’s an opportunity to create a repeatable, scalable field marketing motion that becomes a core growth lever for Further.

What You’ll Do

Drive Field Marketing Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and execute Further’s national field marketing strategy in partnership with Sales and Marketing leadership.

  • Identify, prioritize, and tier regional and state-level conferences based on ROI and pipeline potential.

  • Own the annual field marketing calendar and budget across all regions.

Execute High-Impact Regional Events
  • Own Further’s end-to-end presence at regional conferences and association events nationwide.

  • Manage all aspects of event execution, including sponsorship selection, booth strategy, messaging, staffing, pre-event promotion, on-site engagement, and post-event follow-up.

  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality brand presence while tailoring messaging to regional audiences.

Drive Pipeline & Revenue Impact
  • Partner closely with Sales to align field efforts with territories, target accounts, and revenue goals.

  • Design field programs that convert conversations into demos and opportunities, including on-site meeting booking, event-specific CTAs, and regional nurture campaigns.

  • Track and report on event-sourced pipeline, influenced revenue, and ROI by event and region.

Engage People & Drive In-Person Connections
  • Act as the face of Further at live events, confidently engaging attendees through in-the-moment conversations and group interactions.

  • Initiate and sustain high-quality, real-time conversations that surface needs and create immediate sales opportunities.

  • Actively work event floors, receptions, and sessions to identify high-intent prospects and facilitate introductions.

  • Partner with Sales on-site to convert live conversations into booked meetings and demos.

  • Represent Further with energy, credibility, and warmth in dynamic, in-person environments.

Build Relationships & Collaborate Cross-Functionally
  • Serve as Further’s primary marketing contact for regional and state Senior Living associations.

  • Develop long-term partnerships that include sponsorships, speaking opportunities, workshops, and co-marketing.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and Design to ensure field messaging aligns with GTM priorities and brand standards.

What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5+ years of experience in Field Marketing, Event Marketing, or Demand Generation.

  • Experience owning national or multi-region field marketing programs.

  • Proven ability to tie events directly to pipeline and revenue impact.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple events, regions, and stakeholders.

  • A data-driven mindset—you think in terms of ROI, pipeline, and outcomes, not just activities.

  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with significant ownership and autonomy.

Nice to Have
  • Experience marketing to Senior Living, Healthcare, or vertical SaaS audiences.

  • Familiarity with state and regional Senior Living associations.

  • Experience marketing to SMB or mid-market buyers.

Why Join Further?
  • Join a high-growth company transforming an entire industry.

  • Own and scale a critical revenue-driving function from the ground up.

  • Work closely with Sales and GTM leadership on highly visible initiatives.

  • Be part of a humble, high-performing, mission-driven team.

  • Competitive salary, equity, and benefits.

  • Remote-first culture that values clarity, ownership, and speed.

Further’s Cultural Pillars
  • We treasure our customers

  • We value continuous growth

  • We pursue excellence in everything we do

  • We act with a sense of urgency

  • We take radical ownership

Compensation Band

The annual base salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $110,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications, with an on-target earnings (OTE) range of $150,000 to $160,000. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, transferable skills, business needs, expected impact, and market conditions.

Equal Opportunity Employer

We hire talented and passionate people from a variety of backgrounds because we want our global employee base to represent the wide diversity of our customers. If you’re excited about a role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every bullet point listed in the job description, we still encourage you to apply. If you’re a builder at heart, share our company values, and enthusiastic about making software toolmaking ubiquitous, we want to hear from you.

FURTHER is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate in hiring or any employment decision based on race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, genetic information, veteran status, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, or other applicable legally protected characteristic. FURTHER considers qualified applicants with criminal histories, consistent with applicable federal, state and local law. FURTHER is also committed to providing reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals with disabilities and disabled veterans in our job application procedures. If you need assistance or an accommodation due to a disability, please let your recruiter know.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
