About us

Common Room is the AI GTM Platform that empowers your teams with AI agents built on complete buyer intelligence. We unify every signal across the full buyer journey into one continuously-updated, person-level view—so your team knows exactly who to target and why, what to say, and when to reach out.
GTM teams are drowning in tool sprawl, fragmented data, and AI that doesn't deliver. Common Room replaces your disconnected stack with one platform built for scale and complexity. We bring together data, orchestration, and execution in one system built for orgs of 75-1000+.
We've raised over $50 million from top-tier investors including Greylock, Index, and Madrona, and we're backed by 25+ operators from companies like Figma, Stripe, Airtable, Slack, Notion, Loom, and more.
You + Common Room?
You'd be joining a team that values simplicity, passion, trust, each other, and our customers above all. We ask hard questions, collaborate gladly, and make decisions quickly.
So hello! Please, knock on our door. We'd love to meet you.

What you'll do:
  • Support upmarket push via targeted events strategy: Common Room is pushing up market and you'll be a big part of helping us show up where these buyer's make decisions by planning, coordinating, and executing events that are designed to help us reach those prospects.

  • Contribute materially to this year's pipeline targets : Over the past year, we've increased the velocity and quality of our events. We're looking to 2x our output from this past year through growing the number and effectiveness of our events. Your leadership will help us achieve key pipeline targets.

  • Event impact and measurement: You'll use tools Dreamdata, Salesforce campaigns, and Common Room (yes we use our own product) to track the performance of your programs.

  • Cross-team leadership: Field and marketing events are a team sport and you'll be expected to ensure that pre, during, and post event processes align with the objectives and incentives of the team. It's expected that you'll work closely with contractors (to asssist with some of the logistics), others on the Marketing team, Sales and SDR leadership, and the Executive team (in some cases) to ensure these events are successful.

  • Travel and event coordination: Part of this role will include traveling to many (not all) of the events to ensure that logistics are taken care of and that the whole team does what they can to ensure its success.

What makes you a potential fit:

Blend of skills, experience, and mindset—what success looks like at Common Room.

  • 5+ years in Field and/or Event Marketing for B2B SaaS company. You know what good (and not so good) looks like.

  • A builder: While you'll be walking into a machine that is running, you'll be expected to continually improve upon what exists to help us reach new goals.

  • A pipeline-first marketer who can speak the language of Sales and RevOps and is obsessed with ROI, not just attendance.

  • You're equal parts comfortable with event strategy and tactical execution.

  • A self-starter who knows how to work with partners, internal team members to produce outsized results.

  • Comfort analyzing and sharing out on results (even jumping into a spreadsheet to do some analysis).

Bonus points if you’ve marketed to GTM leaders (Sales, RevOps, Marketing)

What early sucess could look like:
  • Hitting pipeline targets for most/all of the first few events that you help execute end-to-end.

  • Strong partnership established with internal GTM team (Sales and SDR teams especially), as evidenced by clear pre, during, and post-event process that's understood by the whole team.

  • Clear focus on our upmarket and key personas push, as evidenced by a strong events pipeline.

Our values:

  • Be Customer-centric - We work backwards from the needs of our customers. The crisp articulation of customer value guides our decisions.

  • Strive for Simplicity - We choose simplicity over complexity whenever possible. We seek to identify and understand the essential quality of what we are building.

  • Make it Happen - We are quick to take the first step, and prioritize decisiveness over fear of making a mistake. We don’t confuse motion for movement and we measure ourselves on impact over actions.

  • We’re In this Together - We measure personal success by the success of our customers and teammates. Relationships matter, and the strongest ones are built on the foundations of trust, enablement, and transparency.

Our benefits:

Our investment in caring for our employees and their families is a key part of our values and culture at Common Room:

  • Competitive base compensation with meaningful equity ownership

  • Health insurance including medical, dental, and vision, HSA and FSA

  • We pay 100% of your employee premium and 50% of your premium for any dependents

  • Unlimited Paid Time Off

  • Paid Company Holidays

  • Work from home policy including a laptop and support for your home office needs

  • Monthly Remote Stipend

  • 401(k) self contribution

  • Paid Family Leave

  • Opportunity to join a diverse, passionate, and fun team at a pivotal time in the company’s lifecycle

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
