About Blitzy

Blitzy is a Cambridge, MA based rapidly scaling AI startup. The Blitzy Platform is an autonomous software development platform designed for the enterprise.

We're backed by multiple tier 1 investors, have success as founders at the last start-up, and dozens of Generative AI patents to our names.

Blitzy enables development teams to transform six-month software projects into six-day turnarounds using the Blitzy Platform, an agentic platform that enables thousands of AI Agents to ‘think’ and cooperate for hours to bulk build software with precision. The platform precisely builds everything AI can deliver, typically 80% of any feature set or new product, while providing a human engineering guide listing the final 20% of tasks to get to production. With over 27 patents and counting, Blitzy is actively hiring in Cambridge, MA.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Field CTO to join our team as the senior technical partner to our enterprise customers. You will interface directly with CIOs, CTOs, and Heads of Engineering to validate architectures, accelerate modernization, and ensure every Blitzy deployment drives measurable velocity in software delivery.

You will work alongside a rapidly growing, high-performance Enterprise Sales and Customer Success team. You will also collaborate closely with our AI Solutions Consultants to pair technical validation with commercial ROI, leading the technical strategy and credibility throughout the enterprise sales cycle and expansion journey.

This role requires a deep, firsthand understanding of the AI code-generation ecosystem—including direct, practical experience using modern foundation models, toolchains, and frameworks for autonomous or assisted code generation. You should know what’s possible, what’s hype, and how to operationalize it in real enterprise environments.

What Success Looks Like
  • You independently lead enterprise technical validation from discovery to expansion.
  • You operate as a consultative, executive-level partner to customer technology leadership.
  • You act as a trusted advisor, translating modernization goals into executable AI-native roadmaps.
  • You drive measurable SDLC acceleration and platform adoption for every customer.
  • You bring expert perspective on AI code-generation models, platforms, and benchmarks, guiding customers through the category landscape.
  • You collaborate tightly with Enterprise AEs, AI Solutions Consultants, and Customer Success to align technical success with commercial growth.
  • You are a low-ego, high-output team player who thrives in fast-moving, collaborative environments.
Areas of Ownership

Our hiring process evaluates both deep technical credibility and executive influence.
Successful candidates will demonstrate expertise in:

  • Leading enterprise-scale architecture assessments and proofs of concept.
  • Designing and executing technical validation cycles aligned to MEDDPICC frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience fine-tuning, evaluating, and deploying AI code-generation models (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, or open-source equivalents).
  • Understanding how code-generation systems interact with software supply chains, CI/CD, and developer tooling.
  • Translating complex technical capabilities into business value and ROI.
  • Guiding customers through modernization, migration, and AI-adoption strategies.
  • Driving client expansion by uncovering new technical use cases post-implementation.
  • Partnering with Customer Success to ensure long-term adoption and measurable outcomes.
Ways to Stand Out
  • Demonstrated experience as a Field CTO, Chief Architect, or Technical Executive.
  • Proven history implementing or leading AI code-generation initiatives at scale.
  • Familiarity with LLM training, inference optimization, and evaluation metrics.
  • Ability to communicate equally well with engineers and executives.
  • Prior startup experience and comfort with rapid iteration.
  • Public-speaking experience or thought-leadership presence in the AI engineering space.
  • Deep curiosity about how System-2 AI and autonomous agents reshape software development.
You’ll Get …
  • Competitive Salary + Performance Bonus
  • Paid Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (for you and dependents)
  • 4% 401(k) match
  • Equity
  • Flexible vacation, sick days & work-from-home days
  • Technology allowance (hardware, software, reading materials)
  • The opportunity to re-shape an entire industry and build the platform defining AI-native software creation
  • Beautiful office environment in Cambridge Crossing surrounded by other startups
  • Unlimited snacks, fizzy water, coffee, espresso, and everything you need to perform at your best
Culture

Who We Are: Our founding team is a Serial Gen AI Inventor and a Serial Entrepreneur. We work hard, move fast, and maintain a low-ego, high-output mindset.

We act decisively on “two-way door” decisions — a good decision today is better than a perfect one next week.
We believe in the “everyday athlete” philosophy — great sleep, daily motion, and restorative routines fuel peak performance and creativity.

What We Ask of You

Please ask yourself if you are ready for a challenge before applying. Startups are hard and constantly evolving. Your focus will change week-to-week. If that excites you — not concerns you — you’re probably in the right place.

We will be in-person and highly collaborative. You’ll have seasoned peers, but not all the answers — and that’s part of the fun.

Process

Here’s what you can expect:

  • 10-minute intro call
  • 3× interviews (including 1 in-person live exercise)
