What sets us apart? It's not just the tech (though it's best-in-class). It's the people, the purpose, and the passion behind everything we do.

We’re a team of builders, thinkers, and doers who believe that great companies are defined by the stories they tell and the experiences they create—internally and externally. We bring deep industry expertise, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to innovation as we reshape what’s possible in wealth management.

As we grow, we’re looking for teammates who are ready to roll up their sleeves, think big, and help elevate our brand in a way that reflects the bold ambitions we have for our company and the clients we serve. Join us, and be part of a company that's not only moving fast—but making it count.

This role is hybrid, requiring three days per week onsite in our Needham, MA headquarters.

We are seeking a Field CTO to serve as a senior technical advisor to our enterprise clients and prospects. This highly visible role blends technology strategy with business partnership, helping wealth management firms unlock the full value of the Advisor360° platform. As a Field CTO, you’ll partner closely with our sales and relationship management teams, engage directly with client CIOs/CTOs/COOs, and act as a trusted advisor to align technology decisions with business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Build trusted relationships with executives at wealth management firms, serving as a senior technical advisor on digital transformation, platform strategy, and enterprise architecture.
  • Partner with the sales and Customer Success during the sales cycle to shape technology narratives, influence decision-making, and drive adoption of Advisor360°.
  • Lead client workshops, roadmap discussions, and technical deep-dives to align Advisor360°’s solutions with client business and technology strategies.
  • Provide thought leadership on trends in wealth management technology, regulatory requirements, and enterprise data strategies.
  • Translate client feedback into actionable insights for Advisor360° product and engineering teams, influencing roadmap and innovation.
  • Support smooth handoff from pre-sales to delivery, ensuring continuity of strategy and technical alignment throughout the client journey.
  • Represent Advisor360° at industry events, conferences, and client forums as a subject-matter expert and technology evangelist.

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • 12+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, ideally within SaaS, enterprise platforms, and fintech/wealth management technology.
  • Demonstrated success in a client-facing technical advisory role (Field CTO, Solutions Leader, Enterprise Architect, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of wealthtech enterprise IT environments, integration architectures, data strategies, and security considerations in financial services.
  • Ability to engage credibly with C-level executives, translating complex technical concepts into strategic business value.
  • Consultative mindset with the ability to influence high-stakes decisions in complex sales cycles.
  • Experience collaborating with sales, product, and delivery teams in high-growth, fast-paced environments.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of technology, sales, and client success. You’ll directly shape the technology strategies of some of the most influential firms in wealth management while influencing Advisor360°’s platform evolution. If you thrive at the crossroads of business strategy and technology innovation, this role offers a unique opportunity to make an industry-wide impact.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
