✨The core mission of the Federal Marketing Specialist 

We’re seeking a Federal Marketing Specialist to lead public sector field marketing programs and campaigns across the US and Europe. This role is embedded in the Growth Marketing team, reporting to the Head of Field Marketing, and partners closely with Federal Sales leadership to align marketing efforts with sales goals and revenue outcomes.

This position is ideal for a high-performing field marketer with a strong foundation in event execution, campaign operations, and public sector strategy. If you're excited about rolling up your sleeves, owning regional field programs, and partnering with federal sales daily—this role is for you.

🍺 The fellowship you’ll be joining:

Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Growth Marketing and operationally to the SVP of Federal/SLED, you will join a team of over 25 marketers and the wider revenue team of the Fed/SLED revenue organization. You’ll work closely with the wider marketing department (product managers, SoMe, designers) as well as the sales people across the globe to design and deliver holistic lead gen campaigns.

  • Plan, execute, and optimize field marketing programs and strategic events for the US Federal and SLED sectors  
  • Own event logistics and vendor coordination for in-person and virtual federal marketing events  
  • Collaborate closely with Federal Sales leadership to align programs with account priorities and revenue targets  
  • Execute regional campaigns using HubSpot, including email marketing, workflow automation, and campaign reporting  
  • Integrate federal programs with broader GTM campaigns, such as cyber competitions and accreditation-driven initiatives  
  • Track, report, and optimize field marketing impact across key performance metrics (leads, SQLs, pipeline)  
  • Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for the Federal sales team
🏆 Skills, knowledge, and experience points required to unlock the role of Federal Marketing Specialist at Hack The Box:
  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in field marketing (required)
  • 1 to 2+ years of experience in supporting marketing or sales within the federal or public sector (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience managing field events, including contract negotiation and onsite execution  
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or similar marketing automation and CRM platforms  
  • Excellent project management and communication skills  
  • Strong collaboration skills with ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders  
  • Experience with account-based marketing (ABM), channel marketing, or demand generation
    Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience working with public sector associations, partners and/or media 
  • Previous cybersecurity or SaaS company experience
