Shipco Transport Inc.,
a leading international cargo transportation company, has an immediate opening at our BOS branch located in Braintree, MA for an experienced FCL Export/Import Coordinator.

We are seeking a highly organized, customer-focused FCL Ocean Export/Import Coordinator to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in Ocean Export or Import operations within an NVOCC or Freight Forwarding environment, along with strong knowledge of export documentation, regulations, and shipment management. Excellent communication skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage Ocean Export/Import shipments from origin to destination.
  • Track shipment milestones and follow up with customers and carriers.
  • Communicate proactively with Steamship lines, terminal operators, drayage carriers, overseas agents, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide status updates, freight rates, and shipment details to clients and vendors.
  • Receive, review, and ensure documentation is accurately processed and released to customers and agents in a timely manner.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Prior experience in a freight forwarding, logistics, or customer service role.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and adjust when circumstances change.
  • Strong knowledge of export procedures, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities for fast-paced environments. 
  • Knowledge of MS Outlook and Excel with the ability to learn new software.
  • Strong customer service focus and commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
