Job Description
- Responsibility for compliance with global and national export control regulations and policies
- Actively monitoring and tracking from proposed rules/regulations changes , communicating impact to the organization, and providing solutions to mitigate export compliance risk exposure.
- Implementation and monitoring of the requirements of the Bosch Global Standards and Procedures within his/her area of responsibility and translation into national processes.
- Consulting for all Export Control related questions in the US
- Continuous monitoring of business activities as well as review and release of business models or individual transactions
- Steering and support of internal and external audits
- Responsible for export license process including determination of license requirement, preparation submissions and monitoring of licenses
- Review and audit of US Export Control Classification
- Monitoring of national export control law changes and continuous alignment with the global export control governance team
- Responsibility to evaluate deemed export transactions
- Review and update Export Control contract clause/language in agreements, NDA's, quotes
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors' degree
- 10+ years of experience with export control in North America (EAR and OFAC)
- Demonstrated ability to advise internal customers on regional and global policies and processes
- SAP / GTS knowledge or equivalent system
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work across all levels of an organization (including executive and with cross-functional teams)
- Team player attitude
- Strong customer orientation
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- History of being solutions orientated
- CES or CUSECO
- Strong back ground in Software, Technology Transfer, and Semiconductors a plus.
- Legal background and advanced understanding of ITR contract language and amendments a plus.
- Familiar with Canadian Export Control regulations a plus.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 - $180,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
