The Crown Is Yours
As a Senior Manager, PMO, you will own and evolve the PMO function, ensuring it operates as a high-performing, strategic driver of execution. You'll lead a team of project managers, set the vision for project delivery, and establish the frameworks that enable seamless execution of complex, business-critical initiatives. This role is accountable for the overall effectiveness and continuous improvement of the PMO, ensuring it delivers measurable business impact.
What you'll do as a Senior Manager, PMO
  • Establish and drive a culture of accountability, ownership, and excellence within the PMO, ensuring project managers are empowered to deliver high-impact results.
  • Manage and continuously optimize the project portfolio, ensuring initiatives are prioritized, aligned to strategic objectives, and resourced appropriately.
  • Lead high-priority programs & portfolios, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and organizational priorities.
  • Continuously assess and refine portfolio management practices and project delivery frameworks to remove friction, improve clarity, and enable teams to work more effectively.
  • Partner with senior leaders and key stakeholders to align priorities, optimize execution, and drive business outcomes.
  • Define success metrics for portfolio health, project outcomes, and team effectiveness, using data-driven insights to continuously improve performance.
  • Drive execution with a bias for action, ensuring initiatives move forward efficiently and roadblocks are swiftly addressed.
  • Serve as a steady, proven leader who can navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and maintain focus on long-term outcomes.

What you'll bring
  • 10+ years in complex program & portfolio management, with at least 5 years managing project and program managers leading large-scale initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in building, scaling, and optimizing a PMO or project management function to drive business success.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to set a vision, drive execution, and navigate complexity to deliver results.
  • Expertise in stakeholder management, risk mitigation, portfolio governance, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing process gaps.
  • A strong passion for the online gaming industry and enthusiasm for DraftKings' products and innovations.
  • Familiarity with project management in technology, software development, or regulated industries is a plus.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is 151,200.00 USD - 189,000.00 USD, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
