Overview of RoleAs an Experienced Market Research and Insights Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing and executing custom-designed research projects for clients. You will work within a small, agile, multi-disciplinary team – we call these teams “Insight Pods.” In this role, you will take on greater responsibility for project management, client communication, and the delivery of actionable insights.
You will have hands-on exposure to both Qualitative and Quantitative research projects, while also mentoring junior team members and collaborating closely with your pod leader.
Key ResponsibilitiesQualitative Research- Manage relationships with vendors to recruit research participants (e.g., physicians, patients, or caregivers).
- Oversee the scheduling and organization of in-depth research interviews and focus groups.
- Analyze interviews conducted by your pod, synthesizing findings into actionable insights and client-ready deliverables.
- Lead discussions to identify themes and findings that align with client objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to program and test research questionnaires, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client goals.
- Manage fieldwork vendors to recruit research participants and oversee data collection.
- Monitor fieldwork progress, manage quotas, and conduct quality control checks to ensure data integrity.
- Analyze quantitative data and contribute to the development of statistical insights.
- Facilitate brainstorming sessions and “Data Parties” at the end of fieldwork, leading discussions around research findings and their implications.
- Partner with the Data Visualization department to create impactful, visually engaging research presentations that inspire client action.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and the pod, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Bachelor’s Degree (GPA must be included on resume).
- 2+ years of professional experience in market research, healthcare, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing components of research projects (qualitative and quantitative).
- Strong interest in market research for the medical and healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with a range of research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative) and their applications.
- Ability to work in a flexible, less structured environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with healthcare or life sciences clients.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members.
- A proactive desire to continue broadening and deepening your business and consulting skills.

- Applicants must live in the Boston Metro area (or have an intention/plan to relocate). While we practice a hybrid working model, this role is not a fully remote opportunity.
Based on our pay transparency guidelines, a reasonable expectation for the salary range for this role is listed below. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity. The salary range listed reflects all West Monroe geographies. The salary range for your particular geography may be different. Employees in proximity of our Seattle, Washington DC, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco offices will have a geographic premium applied to this salary scale.
