The ideal candidate is a strong writer and content strategist who's excited to learn, collaborate, and grow, with strong experience in lifecycle and email marketing copy. You’ll work closely with the Content Lead, marketing team, designers, UX partners, and other cross-functional stakeholders to bring content strategies to life through high-quality content and thoughtful cross-functional execution. This role is well-suited for someone who wants to deepen their craft, understand how content drives business outcomes, and grow into a more strategic content role over time.
Responsibilities:
- Write and edit high-quality, on-brand content across formats including lifecycle content, website copy, campaign messaging, landing pages, and customer stories.
- Support integrated marketing campaigns by developing clear, compelling content strategy and copy that aligns with creative concepts and business goals.
- Collaborate with marketing team, brand & creative leads, designers, and UX partners to ensure content is clear, user-focused, and effective across all touchpoints.
- Execute content briefs, translating strategy and messaging frameworks into polished deliverables.
- Apply brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelines consistently across all content.
- Assist with content updates and optimizations to support SEO, conversion, and performance goals.
- Participate in content reviews, incorporating feedback and revisions with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Help maintain content documentation, templates, and libraries to support efficient workflows.
- Learn and apply emerging AI tools and best practices, including responsible use of AI, to improve content quality and efficiency.
Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:
- 3–5 years of experience in copywriting, content writing, or a related role (in-house, agency, or freelance), with substantial experience writing lifecycle/email marketing copy.
- Experience in SaaS, B2B, or service-based businesses is a plus, but not required.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio that demonstrates clarity, voice, and attention to detail. Specific experience with email/lifecycle marketing, event marketing, and paid ad copywriting is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt writing style to different audiences, channels, and goals.
- Comfort collaborating cross-functionally and taking direction from various sources.
- Understanding of digital marketing, brand fundamentals, and customer-focused writing.
- Interest in deepening your knowledge of SEO, UX writing, and conversion best practices.
- Highly organized, dependable, collaborative, and open to feedback.
Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States– if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target compensation for this position is $85,000 to $95,000 USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
