  • Oversee development projects and procedural changes to enhance operational integrity.
  • Lead incident management for privacy, security, and general compliance matters, coordinating cross-functional remediation.
  • Prepare executive-level risk assessment reports for internal audits and regulatory review.
  • Maintain and manage a library of compliance guides, specifications, and regulations.
  • Act as the subject matter expert, collaborating with Legal on compliance requirements and regulatory interpretation.

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, healthcare information management, or a related field required; master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years in healthcare compliance, management, or operations.
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare compliance and certification, including HIPAA, CMS, MIPS, Anti-Kickback/FCA, revenue cycle management standards, state privacy and fraud laws, Canada PIPEDA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Proven ability to integrate compliance requirements into products and operations with strategic vision and strong leadership.
  • Skilled in leading multiple cross-functional compliance initiatives, driving coordinated action, and proactively addressing risks.
  • Self-starter with the ability to assess financial and operational data, identify opportunities, and present solutions.
  • Strong ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, from senior executives to operational teams, ensuring alignment and effective decision-making.
  • Agile thinker capable of making swift decisions, delivering results, and navigating changing environments.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a willingness to contribute to hands-on tasks.
