The Business Solutions Scrum Master serves as the agile delivery backbone for the Business Operations team. Drawing from Scrum and Kanban principles, this role brings structured work management, facilitation discipline, and continuous improvement practices to non-engineering business functions — enabling the team to deliver cross-functional projects with greater predictability, transparency, and velocity.
You will own how the Business Operations team organizes, prioritizes, and executes its work. You are equal parts facilitator, process architect, and delivery driver. You understand that operational teams have unique demands — shifting priorities, undefined scope, and stakeholder-driven timelines — and you know how to apply agile thinking pragmatically to manage that reality.
ResponsibilitiesAgile Delivery Facilitation
- Design and facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions tailored to business operations workflows
- Coach team members on agile mindset, ceremonies, and best practices without being dogmatic about any single methodology
- Maintain a healthy, groomed backlog with clear acceptance criteria and priority ordering
- Define and enforce WIP limits to protect focus and reduce context switching
Work Management & Prioritization
- Act as the primary intake point for new requests from internal stakeholders, triaging and prioritizing against existing commitments
- Maintain full visibility of in-flight and queued work across the team; proactively surface capacity constraints
- Own the team's project management tooling (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com) — configuration, hygiene, and adoption
- Build and publish regular status reports and delivery metrics dashboards for leadership
Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Serve as the liaison between Business Operations and partner teams across Finance, HR, Legal, and GTM functions
- Facilitate alignment meetings, escalate blockers, and track dependencies across teams
- Manage expectations proactively when scope changes or timelines shift
Process Improvement & Documentation
- Identify and eliminate recurring inefficiencies through root cause analysis and process redesign
- Build and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and process documentation for repeatable operational workflows
- Lead retrospectives and drive implementation of improvement actions — not just discussion
Required
- 3–5 years of experience in operations, program management, or agile delivery roles
- Demonstrated experience facilitating agile ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, retros, backlog refinement)
- Proficiency in project management and work tracking tools (Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or equivalent)
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt frameworks to non-technical environments
- Experience building and presenting delivery metrics and dashboards
Preferred
- CSM (Certified Scrum Master), CSPO, PMI-ACP, or PMP certification
- Experience in a Business Operations, Revenue Operations, or Strategy & Operations function
- Familiarity with Kanban and Lean process improvement principles
- Experience supporting operational work in a high-growth or scaling organization
