About the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Event Specialist to support the planning and execution of corporate events, trade shows, and internal functions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Excel and possess exceptional organizational skills to manage event logistics, timelines, internal/external communication, and reporting.

 Responsibilities:

• Event Planning & Coordination:
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing events from concept through completion.
  • Maintain detailed event timelines and track milestones to ensure timely execution.
  • Manage vendor communications, contracts, and logistical arrangements.
• Excel & Data Management:
  • Create and manage event-related spreadsheets, guest lists, task trackers, and metrics.
  • Develop pivot tables, charts, and dashboards for performance tracking and post-event analysis.
  • Analyze event data to evaluate outcomes and make recommendations for future improvements.
• Administrative & Organizational Tasks:
  • Maintain comprehensive event documentation and organize digital and physical materials.
  • Coordinate internal communications and scheduling for meetings, walk-throughs, and debriefs.
  • Support procurement and management of event materials, signage, and promotional items.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in event planning, project coordination, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts).
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field preferred.
