About the Role:

The Events Manager plays a crucial role in driving revenue and ensuring the success of various events within the organization. This position is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that attract clients and maximize event attendance. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling event offerings that meet market demands. Additionally, they will analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth, ensuring that the organization remains competitive in the event services industry. Ultimately, the Events Manager will contribute to the overall brand reputation and client satisfaction through effective sales management and exceptional event experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the event services industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing large-scale events or conferences.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Certification in event management or sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for events.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance event offerings.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and assess competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with marketing and event planning teams to create promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Provide support to service as needed. 

$75,000.00/yr plus commission. 

The pay range listed is the reasonable and good-faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting, as required under Massachusetts pay transparency laws. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, performance, and business needs.
