- Demonstrate subject matter knowledge within the Gaming/Lodging/Leisure sector and a strong understanding of the companies within the sector
- Conduct rigorous analysis of financial statements and industry, company, and market data sets
- Create and update financial models and databases
- Author, with Senior Analyst, differentiated research content on companies and industry themes
- Attend company and industry events; cultivate relationships with covered companies and industry contacts
- Communicate research conclusions to internal and external constituents
- Collaborate with research peers to support the generation of cross-sector research content
- Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
- Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Securities Research experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- BS/BA or higher
- Direct experience within the industry or equity research industry specific sector - Gaming/Lodging/Leisure.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
- Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including high level of proficiency in modeling
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge and understanding of financial statement analysis
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles in the capital markets industry
- Knowledge and understanding of investment tools such as Bloomberg or FactSet application
- Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
Job Expectations:
- Up to 10% travel
