Job Description
The Equity Derivatives Strategy team is seeking an Associate level research analyst to join our team in New York.
Position Summary:
As an Associate for the Equity Derivatives Strategy team, you will conduct research, deliver insights and develop actionable trade ideas in equity derivatives markets, focusing on single name and thematic strategies.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducting research and analysis of equity derivatives markets, focusing on single name and thematic trading strategies
  • Writing research notes with actionable trade ideas and strategies that capitalize on market opportunities
  • Monitoring market trends, news, and events to evaluate their impact
  • Marketing the team's research to external clients and internal stakeholders
  • Addressing clients' inquiries and producing customized analyses
  • Working in close partnership with Stock Research Analysts, Sales, and Trading teams


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA) are advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and strong analytical skills
  • In-depth knowledge of stock fundamentals, background in equity derivatives, and passion for financial markets. Relevant experience may include roles in research, sales, trading, portfolio management, or other front-office roles in equity derivatives or cash equities, whether on the buy-side or sell-side
  • Self-motivated, team-player, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
