The Integration Analyst plays a critical role in enabling seamless interoperability between Baylor Genetics’ diagnostic platforms and external healthcare systems. This role is responsible for implementing, supporting, and optimizing EMR integrations—most notably Epic Aura—that support test ordering, results delivery, and the reliable exchange of clinical and genomic data. Working closely with Epic Application Analysts, engineering, informatics, and external health system partners, the Integration Analyst ensures integrations are scalable, secure, and performant. This role supports Baylor Genetics’ broader digital and connectivity strategy by improving data quality, reducing friction in provider workflows, and enabling efficient, compliant clinical data exchange.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in health information technology, computer science, biomedical informatics, healthcare administration, or a related field required.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in healthcare data integration, health IT, or interoperability

• Experience supporting EMR integrations, preferably in a laboratory or diagnostics environment

• Experience working with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)

Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered

Skills:

• Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability and clinical data workflows

• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and troubleshooting

• Experience with APIs and interface monitoring tools

• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Duties and Responsibilities

· Implement, support, and maintain Epic EMR integrations for test ordering, results delivery, and data exchange.

· Serve as a technical partner to Epic Application Analysts during customer onboarding and ongoing support.

· Monitor and maintain data quality across interfaces, proactively identifying and resolving data issues.

· Troubleshoot interface errors using logs, monitoring tools, and database queries.

· Collaborate with engineering and informatics teams to streamline integration workflows and improve automation.

· Develop and maintain internal documentation, SOPs, and integration guides.

· Contribute to Baylor Genetics’ digital health and interoperability roadmap.
