Job Description SummaryThe Enterprise Client Director (ECD), Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO), serves as GE HealthCare’s strategic leader for an assigned national Group Purchasing Organization and its affiliated member organizations. The ECD is responsible for developing and executing the overall account strategy, managing executive relationships, leading contract strategy and execution, resolving complex business issues, and identifying opportunities to expand GE HealthCare’s partnership and growth across the customer’s membership base.
The ECD serves as the primary point of coordination for the assigned GPO relationship and is accountable for aligning GE HealthCare commercial teams around customer priorities, contract commitments, growth opportunities, and issue resolution. Working across Advanced Imaging Solutions (AIS), Patient Care Solutions (PCS), Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx), Service, Digital, and Enterprise Solutions, the ECD delivers a coordinated enterprise approach that strengthens customer partnerships and drives mutually beneficial business outcomes.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities
  • Develop and execute a multi-year account strategy aligned to customer priorities and GE HealthCare business objectives.

  • Translate account strategy into actionable priorities and opportunity plans that can be executed across the GE HealthCare commercial organization.

  • Build and sustain executive-level relationships with GPO leaders and key member health system stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the assigned GPO relationship, ensuring effective coordination, communication, and alignment across GE HealthCare.

  • Lead contract negotiations, renewals, amendments, and strategic business reviews in partnership with Contracting, Legal, Finance, and commercial leadership.

  • Drive contract execution and governance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations while maintaining pricing discipline and protecting enterprise value.

  • Identify and advance growth opportunities across the GPO and affiliated member organizations by aligning GE HealthCare resources, contracted offerings, and customer priorities.

  • Drive engagement with member organizations to promote utilization of GE HealthCare agreements, strengthen strategic partnerships, and expand share of wallet.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Service, Contracting, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to support customer objectives and business growth.

  • Coordinate with Segment and Service leadership to ensure appropriate customer engagement, commercial alignment, and execution of strategic initiatives.

  • Manage complex customer escalations and facilitate resolution of business, operational, service, and contractual issues.

  • Lead cross-segment alignment to improve customer satisfaction, contract performance, win rates, and growth outcomes.

  • Hold internal stakeholders accountable for cross-functional commitments impacting the customer relationship, including issue resolution, implementation execution, NPI support, operational performance, and delivery commitments.

  • Present complex business, financial, contractual, and strategic information clearly and effectively to executive decision-makers.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in medical sales, healthcare contracting, healthcare marketing, clinical/technical modality expertise, healthcare administration, or related commercial leadership roles; OR 8+ years of equivalent professional experience.

  • Demonstrated experience presenting complex information to healthcare executive leadership and decision-makers.

  • Experience managing strategic customer relationships and contract negotiations within a complex healthcare environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and drive results across a highly matrixed organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to orchestrate multiple stakeholder groups and successfully shape business outcomes.

  • Strong business acumen, negotiation, relationship management, and strategic planning capabilities.

  • Ability to travel as required to support customer engagement and business objectives.

  • Must live in and travel within the Nashville area.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with national Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), health systems, or other large healthcare purchasing organizations.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare contracting, GPO agreements, pricing strategies, and commercial operations.

  • Demonstrated success developing and executing account strategies that drive business growth and customer value.

  • Track record of managing complex enterprise relationships and influencing executive stakeholders.

  • Experience working across capital equipment, service, digital, software, and solution-based healthcare offerings.

  • Executive presence with the ability to engage and influence C-suite leaders and senior healthcare executives.
