Primary Purpose

Responsible for the overall management of center enrollment for a group of centers. The focus of this position is to have the full picture of current and future enrollment and to use it to make strategic decisions to achieve maximum occupancy levels for the group. This includes building and managing a pipeline of registered families, making and securing enrollment offers 6 months out and projecting and monitoring transitions 6-8 months out. In addition, they will build relationships with parents and center operators, and provide ongoing communication, guidance and support to both.

This is a remote position based in the United States, but only candidates located in CST or EST will be considered.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

Enrollment

  • Work with qualified families from inquiry to enrollment
  • Strategically manage the pipeline for a group of centers and manage offers to maximize enrollment for the entire group
  • Manage the pipeline of registrations and secure them for future enrollment 6 months in the future
  • Provide parents with definitive information on future availability. 
  • If space is not available work to secure space in another center
  • If request is for future enrollment keep family engaged with Bright Horizons by sending resources and invitations to events.
  • Elevate situations of staffing preventing enrollment to RM/DVP
  • Project future enrollment and work with operations to open and staff additional classrooms as needed
  • Provide ongoing support and communication to families from registration to enrollment and engagement with waitlisted families
  • Work within a Pod Structure to support and maximize enrollment across all centers within the Pod
  • Manages monthly meetings with center teams to ensure alignment on transitions, center staffing needs and enrollment

Transitions

  • Responsible for strategic transition planning 6-8 months out
    Offers backfill enrollment for transitions
    Elevate barriers to transitions and offers to manager/RM/DVP

General 

  • Strategically look at overall center demand and trends and make recommendations on opening or closing of classrooms and future hiring needs.
  • Develop a strong respectful partnership with the operators grounded in the HEART principles to drive to results
  • Maintain center availability in Bright Web for the contact center.
  • Sense of urgency as it relates to enrollment and accurately projecting for future
  • Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm for Bright Horizons Family Solutions, its mission, values and philosophy.
  • Maintain a high-level of customer satisfaction with both internal and external customers. Respond to requests quickly and efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Bright Horizons Enrollment Management System and Bright Star System, including being able to report on all data points and metrics tracked within the systems. Utilize reports to help for future planning.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required
  • 2-3 years of experience in enrollment strategies or sales strategies

    

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Manages his/her own workload and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work autonomously but defer to management for complex or unusual situations, in coordination with operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to document information accurately.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills necessary, in addition to, the ability to work closely with other team members and departments.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, comfortable setting aggressive goals and exceeding them.
  • Problem solving, diplomacy and good judgment in considering the impact of decisions is essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team environment; able to prioritize work and multi-task in a fast-paced setting. Possess a willingness to adjust roles and responsibilities to meet the needs of a constantly changing and growing organization.
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft applications (must know Outlook, Word and Excel). Should be comfortable learning new systems quickly.
  • Excellent phone & customer service skills.
  • Functions effectively under pressure and maintains a positive outlook.

Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $60,000-$83,000. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.

This position is also eligible for a bonus.

Also, depending on hire date and subject to applicable eligibility requirements and accrual schedules, new employees in this role receive up to: 9 paid holidays annually; 40 hours of sick time per year based on full-time schedule, and 80 hours of vacation time per year based on full-time schedule (vacation time may be used for sick leave purposes under any applicable state or local sick or safe time law).
