Skills and Experience Required:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to influence behavior through positive dialogue and have strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Ability to coordinate high work volume and pressing time requirements.
- Ten (10) or more years prior experience in an automotive manufacturing environment directly related to engineering activities.
- Minimum of five years supervisory experience.
- Ability to travel within and outside of the U.S. is required.
- Knowledge of PPAP / Submission process systems or equivalent is required.
- Knowledge of GD&T methods is required.
- Knowledge of IATF16949 auditing experience is required.
- Exposure to international standards/engineering specifications would be an asset.
- Proven leadership capabilities are required.
- Knowledge of SPC, MSA, GR&R is an asset.
- Experience in computer skills such as Microsoft Word or Excel
- Fluent in English, German (preferably) or Japanese (reading and writing).
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
