Staff Software Engineer

We are seeking an Staff Software Engineer to join our team and lead the development of scalable, high-performance solutions for our platform. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding the technical direction of the platform, managing a team of engineers, and driving cross-functional initiatives that enhance our core product. You will also utilize AI tools to improve efficiency and ensure our platform stays at the cutting edge of technology and innovation in the influencer marketing space.

In this role, you’ll get to: 

  • Design and implement the backend architecture for reporting tools like Campaign Reporting, Enterprise Dashboard, and Custom Reporting to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability.

  • Work closely with data engineers to build and enhance data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration of multiple data sources for accurate and efficient reporting.

  • Implement advanced data processing techniques and optimize database queries for real-time and batch reporting. Collaborate with front-end engineers to develop interactive and user-friendly reporting dashboards.

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and enhance the efficiency of reporting tools through performance tuning and infrastructure improvements.

  • Work closely with Product Managers, Data Engineers, and UX Designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring that reporting tools meet customer needs.

  • Define best practices for reporting system architecture, data modeling, and code quality, ensuring maintainability and scalability.

  • Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with industry regulations when handling customer reporting data.

  • Provide technical leadership to engineers working on reporting tools, conducting code reviews, and driving best practices for clean and efficient code.

Who you are and what you’ll need for this position: 

  • 7+ years of experience in software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, C++, Java).

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing projects, and 2+ years in a people management or supervisory role.

  • Expertise in developing APIs, including REST and GraphQL.

  • Extensive experience with Node.js, Python, and SQL databases.

  • Proficiency in AWS, with experience working on serverless architecture.
