Position Overview:

Ameresco is looking for an Engineering Intern to join our Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System Engineering team for a summer internship. The role will be based in either our Framingham, MA or Boston, MA office.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Project Developers, Engineers and Project Managers to provide project support as needed on Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System projects.

  • Aggregate and organize data and correspondence (e.g. drawings, utility interconnection applications and data entry/upload as necessary).

  • Perform on-site activities and site support as dictated by project phase/requirements, as necessary.

  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Working toward a B.S. in Engineering, preferably in something focused on Renewable & Clean Energy.

  • Willing to be able to travel to different Ameresco sites.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Modeling software proficiency as well as MS Office program experience preferred.

The anticipated hourly range for this role is $23.00–$30.50 per hour (presented in good faith). In addition to base pay, employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, and may be eligible for performance incentives, bonuses, commissions, or equity, depending on the role.

Actual pay will depend on factors such as internal equity, skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. This range supports our commitment to pay transparency and compliance with applicable laws. Compensation may vary by work location, including remote arrangements.
