We are looking for a super unique systems-minded developer to help automate testing of current and future robotic products. Are you a software developer that has always played with hardware? Are you just as excited about API development as you are about data-driven test frameworks? Are you equally comfortable with Linux as you are with pandas? Key responsibilities include:

· Design and develop frameworks for testing autonomous consumer electronics products

· Provide technical leadership to less seasoned software automation engineers

· Propose improvements to automation coverage of product software requirements

· Implement and maintain cloud-facing and robot-facing test modules

· Perform code reviews

· Contribute to an ever-expanding knowledge base

· Coordinate automation test operations with product teams and DevOps engineers

Minimum Requirements:

· 5+ years of automation testing consumer products

· Software programming or scripting experience (Node.js, Python, C++, shell scripting)

· Hardware experience with microcontrollers; familiarity with oscilloscopes and multimeters

· Familiarity with distributed source code management systems (Git, Github, Bitbucket)

· Software development using REST APIs of cloud-connected services

· Experience with test reporting and/or dashboarding

· An inquisitive personality (builder or tinkerer)

· Self-starter that must be able to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment

· Effective communicator capable of reducing abstract concepts to reality in both oral and written form

· Attention to detail in everything you do

· Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent, or relevant work experience

Preferred Experience

· Hardware experience with Arduino/Raspberry Pi

· IoT device REST API development or testing

· End-to-end subject matter expertise in a complex HW and SW system

· Prior technical lead / mentor role
