About the Insurance Vertical

Our Insurance vertical partners with many of our most sophisticated and complex insurance customers across insurers, reinsurers, and brokers. As a rapidly growing vertical, Insurance plays a critical role in shaping our commercial strategy and expanding our footprint across our customer base. The team leads go-to-market execution in these segments and works cross-functionally to inform product roadmap, sales strategy, and account management.

Job Description

AI Strategists play a critical role at Hebbia: you will be responsible for the strategic value creation and deployment of Hebbia with our partners, shaping the world of AI in enterprise.

We’re looking for ambitious and highly skilled individuals who deeply understand insurance industry workflows (across brokerages, carriers, and investment asset managers) and can lead deployments with ambitious customers. AI Strategists will be the voice of the customer – understanding explicit and implicit business needs across a multitude of verticals and working with the Product team to inform requirements. A strong candidate requires strategic thinking as we write the deployment playbook on AI for serious work.

If you enjoy solving challenging problems and building strong relationships and teams while doing so, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Customer-centricity: Deeply understand the insurance industry, its workflows, and the various documentation utilized across the industry value chain – creatively deploy with new teams and support existing users to get the most out of Hebbia
  • Relationship orientation: Build strong relationships (including at the executive level) and serve as a trusted advisor and go-to leader in AI
  • Structured approach: Tackle ambiguous, complex customer and product questions - bringing together a deep understanding of user needs and technical capabilities
  • Define roadmap: Shape the future of the product - bring the voice of the customer to our product and engineering teams and strategically advise on the future of the product
  • Grow our team: Help to build the growth team - with potential opportunity to manage a dedicated team in the near future

Who You Are

  • 2-5 years of experience in insurance-related roles (particularly in a commercial and transaction insurance environment): insurance brokering, commercial policy underwriting and/or claims management, or investment/asset management at an insurer - with strong understanding of insurance landscape and regulations plus proven ability to bring together customer-facing, analytical, strategic, and cross-functional work
  • Excellent relationship management skills with senior-level stakeholders
  • Strong ownership mindset - you see problems or white space and make it yours
  • Distinctive analytical and problem solving capabilities: structure ambiguous, open-ended problems, and quickly iterate on solutions
  • Innate bias towards action and impact, while working in a nimble and fast-paced environment

Compensation

The OTE compensation range for this role is $90,000 - $230,000. This range may be inclusive of several career levels at Hebbia and will be narrowed during the interview process based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. Adjustments outside of this range may be considered for candidates whose qualifications significantly differ from those outlined in the job description.
