Sell diagnostic imaging services to employers across the United States, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting and demand generation through negotiation and contract close. Build account plans, engage benefits and finance stakeholders, develop business cases, manage RFPs and procurement reviews, maintain forecasts, and coordinate implementation handoffs. The role requires employer benefits or healthcare-services sales experience, complex deal management, consultative selling, and daily use of AI to improve team workflows.

We're Scan.com. We're building America's national imaging network: the infrastructure that connects patients, providers, and payers to faster, better-value diagnostic imaging. Thousands of patients move through our platform every day, and each is a real person waiting for an answer to a healthcare concern. We exist to get them that answer faster.

We manage the medical imaging pathway end-to-end. Providers order through a single point of entry, and from there, we run the entire medical diagnostic pathway. Managing the full pathway, rather than brokering pieces of it, is what lets us deliver imaging faster, at higher quality, and at a lower cost than the fragmented status quo.

Our work brings together access to imaging centers, ordering, scheduling, and delivery. We're building a business that makes this process easier for patients and for the organizations responsible for their care. We've raised over $200m in VC funding.

We're looking for an Employer Account Executive to help drive Scan.com's next stage.

WHAT YOU WILL BE GETTING INVOLVED IN:

You will sell Scan.com's diagnostic imaging services directly to employers across the US. You will own the full sales cycle, from identifying target accounts and creating demand through evaluation, negotiation, and signed agreement. Working with Consultant Relations and Solutions Consulting, you will help benefits and finance leaders understand the opportunity, build a credible business case, and put a practical implementation plan behind every sale. This is an individual contributor role with responsibility for an agreed portfolio of target accounts and an individual quota.

As a scaleup business, you can expect your role to develop over time. Here are some of the types of things you could be getting involved in:

  • Build an account plan around employer fit, workforce geography, benefits priorities, buying cycles, and the opportunity for Scan.com to deliver value.

  • Generate your own pipeline through targeted outreach, referrals, industry events, and coordinated work with consultants, brokers, Marketing, and channel partners.

  • Lead discovery across benefits, total rewards, HR, finance, and procurement. Build relationships with executive sponsors and day-to-day buyers, map decision criteria and funding, and agree a mutual action plan tied to the employer's benefits calendar.

  • Develop account-specific proposals with Solutions Consulting, Finance, Analytics, and Network, grounding the value case in validated pricing, provider access, expected utilization, and clearly stated assumptions.

  • Own complex sales processes through demonstrations, RFPs, finalist presentations, procurement, security and data reviews, and commercial negotiation. Coordinate consultant and administrator input and resolve barriers to an executable employer decision.

  • Coordinate with Consultant Relations on consultant-led accounts, maintaining clear account ownership and an agreed plan for moving each employer opportunity forward.

  • Close agreements that our teams can deliver, then provide a documented handoff covering contractual commitments, implementation owners, launch dates, and measures of success.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasts, tracking stage progression, decision dates, deal risks, and next steps. Share market feedback and work with Client Success on expansion opportunities.

WHAT YOU MIGHT BRING TO THE TABLE:

You don't need to tick all the boxes to apply for this role. We believe everyone can add value, learn, and grow. These are some of the experiences and capabilities that would help you succeed:

  • A demonstrated record of winning new employer customers in benefits, digital health, or healthcare services, managing long and complex buying cycles, and consistently achieving individual sales targets.

  • Experience selling to benefits, total rewards, HR, and finance stakeholders, ideally within self-funded employers.

  • The ability to create demand through your own prospecting as well as consultant, broker, and partner relationships.

  • Strong discovery, business-case development, presentation, negotiation, and account planning skills.

  • A practical understanding of employer buying cycles, the role of consultants and administrators, and implementation dependencies.

  • Disciplined opportunity qualification and forecasting, with evidence of managing pipeline coverage, engaging multiple decision-makers, and making commercial commitments that delivery teams can meet.

AI REQUIREMENTS

At Scan.com, AI isn't a side project; it's how we work. For a member of this team, that means using AI daily to draft, check, and move faster. For the person leading this team, the bar is higher: you're expected to see where AI and agentic tooling can restructure the work itself, not just speed up your own tasks.

Tier 3 — AI-Building

You use AI daily in your own work, and you actively identify and help build automations or agentic workflows that change how your team operates — not just personal productivity gains. You know how to evaluate whether an AI-driven process is safe and reliable enough for sensitive patient data before rolling it out to the team.

A VIEW ON OUR CULTURE

We're building something that matters. Every scan we speed up is a real person waiting on an answer, and that urgency runs through everything we do. We move fast, own outcomes, and take pride in our output. If you like ambiguity, working with ambitious people, and want your work to visibly move the needle, you'll feel at home here. For you to be successful at Scan.com, you must embody our values.

HOW WE WILL INTERVIEW YOU

We keep our interview process focused. The order of the stages may change depending on team availability:

  1. A 30-minute introductory phone call with a member of our Talent Team.

  2. A 45-minute video call with the hiring manager to explore the role and your relevant experience.

  3. A Scan Standard interview covering our values, the success factors for this role, and how you use AI. We may discuss a practical scenario relevant to the work.

  4. Meet the founders and/or other team members.

  5. Offer!

WHAT WE OFFER
  • Base salary of $200,000, with commission structure

  • Equity

  • Flexible remote or hybrid work options

  • Dedicated personal development budget

  • Medical, vision, and dental coverage

  • 28+ days of paid time off across PTO and wellbeing days

  • Paid parental leave

  • All the equipment you need to do your best work
