Job Summary
As an EMEA Innovation Economy Payments Sales Associate within the Corporate & Investment Banking team, you will play a crucial role in managing and growing client relationships across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, and France. You will collaborate with corporate and investment bankers to deliver customized financial solutions, contributing to the success of our clients and the wider community. Your role will involve working closely with internal partners to develop comprehensive Treasury solutions and support the Payments line of business.
Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Payment Sales Managers with their client portfolios.
  • Develop knowledge of JPMorgan Payments products and processes.
  • Develop an understanding of clients' cash management structures and objectives. Collaborate with Payment Sales on client proposals to identify solutions and perform cost/benefit analysis.
  • Assist in client call preparation by creating pitch books, account plans, and conducting customer research. Assist with RFP/RFI responses and coordinate ad-hoc analysis.
  • Lead client calls and in-person meetings occasionally.
  • Coordinate with product partners to deliver comprehensive Payments solutions.
  • Manage the sales cycle pipeline and ensure accurate service and pricing setup.
  • Contribute to sales and revenue goals by identifying growth opportunities.
  • Prepare account plans, business strategy reviews, and relationship reviews.
  • Stay informed on industry topics and market themes.
  • Help clients navigate the JPMorgan ecosystem and maintain high service levels, and coordinate new client onboardings and implementations, ensuring smooth processes.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • High degree of diligence and personal accountability.
  • Goal-oriented with innovation and critical thinking skills. Demonstrates ambition to develop into a salesperson.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to build relationships and mobilize internal networks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficiency in European language(s) is highly desirable.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and marketing skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Ability to work independently and manage processes efficiently.
