Job DescriptionTHE PROGRAM
We're looking for students to join our Co-Op Program who believe that sound is power. Over the 6-month co-op, you will get the opportunity to apply the skills you learned in the classroom with hands-on work experience. Our Co-Ops will get to network across the business to understand different perspectives at Bose. You'll connect with other Co-Ops and colleagues to grow your network for the future!
Timeframe - Spring Co-op- Must be available January 12- June 26, 2026 and able to work in a hybrid work environment.
THE ROLE
We're looking for an Embedded Software Developer Co-Op to join the ITH Consumer Software Product Delivery team and assist the team with new products and life cycle development work. In this role you will
- Develop and modify embedded code that runs on our home products
- Participate in scrum and cross functional team planning
- Contribute to system design and code reviews
- Participate in developing solutions that improve customer product experience
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you should be/have:
- Pursing a college-level degree in computer science and/or computer software programming
- Embedded Linux, OOP C/C++, Python programming Exposure/interest/working knowledge of latest AI-based tools
- Someone who enjoys music as well as a compulsion to tinker and create using latest technologies.
- Detail driven and well-organized
- Critical thinker who takes time to understand a problem before jumping into execution…
- …while balancing the agility needed to accommodate tight schedules.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with hardware (i.e. PCB design, gaming computer build, Raspberry pi programming,
- General interest in the inner workings of processor-based systems.
