We are seeking an experienced embedded engineer to help build an advanced, integrated manipulation system.
Responsibilities
Customize and adapt existing motor driver PCBA to meet project requirements
Oversee PCBA bringup, validation, and troubleshooting
Design, develop, and iteratively improve firmware for motor drivers and other peripheral boards
Design both moving and stationary cable harnesses
Develop and integrate the electrical system for a battery-operated robotic platform
Qualifications
BS, MS, or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Proficient in C, C++, and Python programming
Strong background in power electronics design and debugging
Experience in firmware development, debugging, and testing for microcontrollers
Advanced knowledge of embedded RTOS, concurrency primitives, and bare-metal concepts such as ISRs
Deep familiarity with common bus protocols, including I2C, UART, SPI, etc.
