We’re growing our Electrical Engineering practice and are looking for a Professional Electrical Engineer (PE) to help support and expand our building-focused work. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys owning projects, working directly with clients, and delivering high-quality electrical designs across a variety of building types.

Oregon: Bend, Keizer, Medford, The Dalles, Tualatin
Washington: Kirkland, Richland, Vancouver, Wenatchee, White Salmon
What You’ll Do
  • Design and deliver electrical engineering solutions for building construction projects across commercial, healthcare, industrial, institutional, and residential markets.
  • Lead the design of power distribution systems, building lighting, power systems, low-voltage systems, and control systems.
  • Prepare calculations, reports, construction documents, and permit submittals.
  • Develop electrical plans, single-line diagrams, load calculations, panel schedules, and lighting designs.
  • Coordinate directly with clients, architects, contractors, utilities, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs).
  • Collaborate closely with internal project managers and multidisciplinary design teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical support during design reviews and throughout construction.
Who You Are
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Oregon and/or Washington.
  • 4–10 years of electrical engineering experience, with a strong focus on building construction projects.
  • Proven experience in commercial, healthcare, industrial, institutional, and/or residential construction environments.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD; working experience with Revit is strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable using Excel and Word for calculations, documentation, and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, low-voltage, and controls.
  • An excellent communicator who can work directly with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Nice to Have
  • Experience coordinating with AHJs through permitting and inspections.
  • Familiarity with applicable electrical codes and standards (NEC and local jurisdictional requirements).
  • Interest in mentoring junior engineers or designers.
  • Desire to grow into a technical leadership role as the electrical team continues to expand.
