Blue Acorn iCi is seeking an EDS Front End Developer to build, optimize, and maintain high-performance web experiences using Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS). This role focuses on modern, lightweight front-end development aligned to EDS best practices, emphasizing speed, scalability, accessibility, and content authoring efficiency.
You will collaborate closely with architects, UX designers, content teams, and engineering partners to deliver composable, edge-optimized digital experiences. The ideal candidate has strong front-end development expertise, experience with Adobe Edge Delivery Services, and a passion for building scalable, high-performing digital experiences.
Location: Remote - United States
- Develop and maintain front-end components using Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS).
- Implement content blocks, templates, and patterns aligned to EDS architecture.
- Build responsive, high-performance web experiences using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Optimize sites for Core Web Vitals, performance, and SEO.
- Lead the hands-on execution of the expanded migration proof of concept (POC).
- Implement representative customer journeys using Adobe Edge Delivery Services.
- Validate migration assumptions through practical implementation.
- Document technical observations, challenges, and recommendations.
- Support estimation activities by providing implementation-level insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to establish reusable migration patterns and technical standards.
- Integrate front-end experiences with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and other Adobe Experience Cloud solutions.
- Partner with UX/UI designers to translate designs into scalable front-end implementations.
- Collaborate with architects and backend teams on composable and headless architectures.
- Ensure compliance with WCAG accessibility standards.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following front-end best practices.
- Perform code reviews and support delivery quality standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Support testing, bug fixes, and production deployments.
- Contribute to internal documentation and reusable component libraries.
- Strong experience with Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS).
- Advanced proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with modern front-end tooling and workflows.
- Solid understanding of performance optimization and edge-based delivery.
- Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including authoring concepts and headless or hybrid implementations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional engineering, architecture, UX, and product teams.
- Ability to follow architectural guidance and delivery standards.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and quality-focused mindset.

The base salary range for this position is $150,000–$180,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
