We are a leading financial services provider committed to making decisions easier and making lives better for our customers and colleagues around the world. From our environmental initiatives to our community investments, we lead with values throughout our business. To help us stand out, we help you to step up, because when colleagues are healthy, respected and meaningfully challenged, we all thrive. Discover how you can grow your career, make impact and drive real change with our Winning Team today.

As an Early Talent Program Manager, you will be at the forefront of elevating the new graduate experience, playing a key role in driving engagement and building community amongst our early talent programs. Your focus will be on designing and delivering programming to our Technology Associates (new grads) that accelerates technical expertise, career development, and future leadership potential. You’ll be empowered to push the limits of innovation to make progress for yourself, our students/new graduates, and our business across North America. Join a supportive team and experience a values-first culture where your career development and wellbeing are just as important as the impact you’ll make in transforming the lives of our future leaders and technologists of tomorrow.

Your scope will cover all aspects of the Technology New Grad Rotational Program (START) and new graduates in Canada and the United States (as well as the co-ops and interns that feed the program) and your objective is to lead the development of these new graduates so that they can become our leaders and technologist of tomorrow. This will include pieces like the orientation and onboarding experience for the Co-op/Intern and New Graduate program in both regions, as well as centralizing skills training, formalizing a mentorship program, and coordinating networking events that give students and new graduates exposure to cross-functional business units and the technology leadership team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • You will be expected to work closely with campus recruiters and committees for recruitment events, as well as lead the interview process.

  • You’ll manage the program budget working alongside Early Talent leadership and our key partners in Technology.

  • You will be responsible for assessing the talent, leveraging KPIs, placing students and determining new graduate rotational opportunities as well as helping to place students when they graduate from the program.

  • Collaborate and connect with the technology and business teams to assess what skills are needed 2 years from now and build a recruitment strategy to hire for some of those skills.

Required Qualifications:

This role isn’t for everyone – we need someone who is so future-looking it’s scary! Someone who is embedded not just in the program, but also in the Technology team so that they know what is going on and have close connectivity to all of the CIOs and their teams. Without the curiosity needed to really want to know the tech space and what our teams are up to, you can’t thrive in this role. And to go along with this deep curiosity, you need to be able to hold managers accountable, have a voice for change and a desire to “do the right thing”. You are a natural connector who is passionate about people’s development and have the energy to lead hungry new graduates and want to push us to be our best. You should also be a strong advocate for the program and the graduates.

In addition to the above, we also require the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree (ideally in Business, HR or Technology).

  • Proven success in a fast-paced, global organization, as well as other-worldly organizational skills for planning, program management, relationship management, and keeping all of your associates on track.

  • You must be a big thinker who can work in a group but also autonomously at times and who can commit to a degree of travel (about 10%) for student events.

  • The ideal candidate can be in Boston and Toronto for a minimum of a week a month each and in the office (whichever office they choose) for 3 days a week.

  • Problem solving is something you’ll lean on often so this is required.

  • Experience managing cross-functional relationships, strong communication and presentation skills, a data-driven mindset and, most of all, passion (yes we said it twice, but it’s that critical).

When you join our team:

  • We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.

  • We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.

  • As part of our global team, we’ll support you in shaping the future you want to see.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
