RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the executional details of distributed research, including survey review, backend study setup, and facilitation of live and ongoing studies
  • Review stakeholder-created surveys for quality, clarity, and adherence to quantitative research and survey design best practices
  • Monitor active studies, troubleshoot participant issues, and communicate bugs or system limitations to internal tooling and technical teams
  • Interact directly with WHOOP members via Salesforce to resolve issues related to distributed studies and device connectivity
  • Support operational workflows that enable DWL to scale as a core quantitative research platform across WHOOP
  • Regularly report study progress, risks, and executional challenges to the broader WHOOP Labs team

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human physiology, exercise physiology, psychology, biotechnology, human factors engineering, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of experience in quantitative research, product research, or a related research-focused role
  • Strong foundation in survey design and quantitative research methods, including consumer-grade and mixed-methods approaches
  • Experience with cross-functional stakeholder management and translating research needs into executable study designs
  • Familiarity with distributed or remote research platforms; clinical research experience is a plus
  • UX research experience is a nice-to-have, but not required
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple concurrent studies
  • Comfortable working with internal tools and member-facing platforms such as Salesforce
