About the role…

The Director of Management and Agency Relations will lead and grow ShopMy’s partnerships with talent management companies, a key stakeholder in the creator ecosystem. With over 100,000 creators on our platform—many of whom are represented by top talent managers—this role will drive strategic relationships to onboard more high-performing creators to ShopMy.

Sitting within the Creator Growth team, this individual will manage a small team and lead the go-to-market strategy for talent management relations. They will collaborate closely with Product to develop valuable tools and reporting for talent managers and work with Marketing to ensure a strong go-to-market approach.

Roles and responsibilities…

Be an Industry Expert: 

  • Develop a deep understanding of the motivations of talent management companies and, in turn, craft a compelling proposition that incentivizes them to onboard their talent to ShopMy
  • Establish oneself as a thought-leader in the talent management ecosystem, positioning ShopMy as the industry leading creator monetization platform for managed talent

Strategic Planning: 

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators that measure the effectiveness of your strategies
  • Build a go-to-market strategy for reaching talent management companies at scale

Business Development: 

  • Forge relationships with founders of talent management companies of varying scales, as well as their associated talent managers
  • Leverage ShopMy’s Marketing Team to ensure sufficient awareness in the talent management ecosystem of ShopMy’s willingness to work closely with managers

Product Development: 

  • Ideate and optimize a referral program that sufficiently incentivizes talent management companies to onboard their talent to ShopMy
  • Work closely with ShopMy’s Product Team to build functionality in-platform that helps talent management companies understand the performance of their creators
  • Develop an onboarding process, such that talent management companies can seamlessly onboard their talent to ShopMy en masse


Our non negotiables….

  • 8+ years of experience in talent management, agency relations, creator strategy, partnerships, sales or business development. 
  • Clear proof of strong interpersonal skills with developed, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and executives.
  • Passion for the creator economy and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by ShopMy’s creators
  • Comfort using learning & enablement technology (Canva, Figma, Microsoft Suite, Google Docs, Loom)
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience
