This position will be a hybrid work arrangement. You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed.

The Director of Talent Acquisition for the Americas region (US/Bogota/Canada) will lead all aspects of designing and implementing a customer-centric, data-driven recruiting strategy that delivers a strong talent pipeline and hiring results aligned to the company's growth objectives. This leader will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, manage sourcing partnerships, and elevate sourcing capabilities to ensure the organization consistently attracts, engages, and hires top talent from a wide variety of backgrounds.

What you will do:
  • Lead the America's region talent acquisition strategy to help the firm achieve high-growth business priorities and workforce plans

  • Manage a high-performing TA team of three recruiters, including goal setting coaching, and performance management, to deliver exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences

  • Lead the design and execution of proactive sourcing strategies including market mapping, talent pooling and direct outreach for critical roles

  • Deepen existing strategic sourcing partnerships with universities and professional associations to source talent and build the HarbourVest brand, including representation at events, career fairs or industry conferences

  • Establish and measure key TA metrics (e.g. time to fill, quality of hire, funnel conversion, source effectiveness, etc.), and generate regular insights and recommendations for senior leadership

  • Make suggestions for continuous improvement of TA processes, technology, and tools to increase hiring efficiency

  • Partner closely with the HR colleagues and hiring managers to ensure hiring processes are inclusive

  • Partner with Marketing to strengthen employer branding and recruitment marketing across digital channels, events, and partnerships to position the firm as an employer of choice

  • And other responsibilities as required

What you bring:
  • Proven success leading a team to implement talent acquisition strategies that improve hiring outcomes

  • Strong background in proactive sourcing including use of LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS talent rediscovery, market mapping, and passive candidate engagement strategies

  • Data-driven approach with experience using recruiting analytics and dashboards to drive decisions

  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with the ability to partner effectively with senior leaders and cross- functional stakeholders

  • Experience in Private Equity or financial services is preferred, but not required

Education Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Experience
  • 8+ years of progressive talent acquisition experience, including at least 3-5 years leading a recruiting function or team

Base Salary Range

$150,000.00 - $160,000.00

This USD base salary range represents only one component of total compensation for this role and is provided in accordance with local requirements. This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is determined based on individual and overall firm performance. In addition to salary and bonus, total compensation may include eligibility for long-term reward programs and a comprehensive total rewards package that may include retirement, health, insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs. Our total rewards offerings are influenced by several business factors, and eligibility for certain components will vary by position and geography. Please note the posted ranges do not apply outside the U.S. and should not be converted to other currencies as a proxy for compensation in other countries.
