You will be responsible for driving the go-to-market strategy and commercial success of Veeva Digital Events (VDE) services and offerings. In this role, you will collaborate closely with commercial sales, partner networks, customer account teams, implementation, and product leadership to standardize and elevate HCP engagements across the end-to-end event lifecycle. The ideal candidate excels at communicating across diverse business functions and executive leadership (including C-level and brand marketing leaders). You possess strong initiative, creativity, and a team-first mindset, embodying a "humble, hungry, and smart" approach to overcoming complex business challenges.
What You'll Do
- Go-To-Market & Vision: Develop, communicate, and execute the market vision and GTM strategy for Veeva Digital Events (VDE) services and offerings
- Sales Enablement & Support: Lead deal strategy for Digital Events Services, support Events Management deals, and partner with the commercial sales team to convert new pipeline opportunities
- Value Messaging: Build compelling GTM materials demonstrating VDE capabilities and business value, effectively positioning them to both internal stakeholders and customer executive teams
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product teams to translate customer feedback into feature enhancements and shape future service offerings
- Industry Leadership: Define industry standards for HCP engagements and represent Veeva as a thought leader at major conferences (such as Veeva Summit), webinars, and industry panels
- Customer & Account Strategy: Work alongside Account Partners and Strategy Leads to drive platform adoption and articulate clear ROI to life sciences customers. Develop strong and mutually valuable relationships with new and existing customers
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in the life sciences industry, specifically in Commercial Strategy, Sales/Marketing Operations, Meetings & Conventions, or HCP Engagement & Speaker Bureau Management
- BS or BA degree is required
- Deep Subject Matter Expertise: Deep expertise in managing the end-to-end event lifecycle within life sciences
- Track Record: Proven history of successfully bringing new products, services, or offerings to market
- Leadership & Execution: High level of autonomy with a "CEO mindset" to drive outcomes across matrixed internal and external teams. Strong strategic intuition paired with a "roll-up-your-sleeves" execution mindset
- Executive Presence: Confident presenting, negotiating, and influencing at the C-suite and VP level
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Fast learner with strong verbal, written, and visual storytelling skills
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 25%
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Vault CRM Events Management and the Vault CRM Suite
- In-depth understanding of life sciences compliance guidelines, FMV, and transparency reporting regulations surrounding HCP interactions
- Experience in management consulting or commercial agency services within the pharmaceutical sector
- Familiarity with enterprise event technology and virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Cvent, ON24, Zoom Enterprise)

Compensation
- Base pay: $125,000 - $200,000
- The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
