Role Overview
The Director of Strategic Partnerships is responsible for building and executing the company’s global partnership strategy. This role owns senior relationships with brand and integration partners and drives partner-sourced revenue through strategic alliances, joint go-to-market initiatives, and long-term ecosystem development. The Director acts as the executive voice of the partnership function and ensures alignment across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success.
Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive Relationship Management
- Serve as the senior relationship owner for top-tier brand and integration partners.
- Lead renewals and commercial expansion discussions.
- Act as the primary escalation point for critical partner issues.
Sales & Go-to-Market Leadership
- Design and oversee joint go-to-market strategies with partners.
- Collaborate with Sales leadership on pipeline development, deal strategy, and partner-supported opportunities.
- Review, forecast and own partnership pipeline performance and revenue targets.
Internal Leadership & Enablement
- Create and maintain partnership frameworks, playbooks, and governance structures.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and strategic direction to the Strategic Partnerships Team.
- Translate partner insights into product and company roadmaps.
- 8–12 years of experience in strategic partnerships, alliances, business development, or channel leadership
- Proven track record of driving revenue through partnership ecosystems
- Experience negotiating complex contracts and managing executive-level relationships
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or similar)
- Partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue
- Number and quality of strategic partnerships
- Pipeline value and deal velocity from partner channels
