We are seeking a Director, Strategic Partnerships, reporting to our Co‑Founder & Chief  Strategy Officer.

  • Goal & impact – Build and scale high‑value partnerships with FDA and other health authorities, large biopharma companies, CROs, and top‑tier consulting firms that accelerate Weave’s commercial growth and market credibility.
  • Key internal collaborators – Executive leadership, Commercial & Sales, Marketing, Product & Engineering
  • Key external partnerships – Large‑pharma executives, global consulting firms (strategy & technology), government and regulatory bodies, and technology/AI collaborators.

  • Deliver value from signed partnerships
    • Initially, this role entails both winning and managing partner relationships. You will be responsible not only for bringing the business in but swinging through and ensuring that it delivers the promised value.
    • You will establish metrics to track and drive partnership value, and work cross-functionally to execute on partner agreements. In time you will hire a team to manage execution of partner agreements and existing relationships.
  • Deepen executive & cross‑sector relationships
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to pharma executives, leveraging prior consulting experience in biopharma to build credibility quickly and open doors to senior decision‑makers;
    • Represent Weave in high‑level discussions with government agencies, large consultancies, and technology partners to form collaborations that support platform validation and adoption.
  •  Shape partnership strategy & GTM execution
    • Partner with Commercial and Product teams to translate signed partnerships into go‑to‑market execution, and represent Weave at conferences, panels, and other thought‑leadership venues.
What You’ll Bring
  • Consulting Pedigree – Prior experience as a management or strategy consultant within biopharma, with a deep understanding of how pharma organizations evaluate, structure, and approve external partnerships.
  • BD Track Record – Demonstrated history of developing new business – from origination through close – ideally in life sciences, digital health, or enterprise software.
  • Partnership Development – Proven ability to develop and manage high‑level, complex partnerships with large biopharma companies and top‑tier consulting firms.
  • Executive Credibility – Established credibility and relationships with pharma executives (VP‑level and above); able to command a room and drive alignment among senior stakeholders.
  • Business Development Acumen – Strong commercial instincts, negotiation skills, and comfort structuring win‑win partnership agreements; executive‑level communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Education – Advanced degree in life sciences, engineering, or business (MS, PhD, PharmD, MBA) preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% - domestic and potentially international travel for partner meetings, conferences, and live demonstrations. Travel is considered an essential function of the position.
