Director, SAT Suite Program Success Enablement

College Board - CRA

Location: This is a remote role. Candidates who live near CB offices have the option of being fully remote or hybrid (Tuesday and Wednesday in office). All CB employees are required to occasionally travel to meet in person for business purposes.

Role Type: This is a full-time position

About the Team

The SAT Suite Program Access team leads the national strategy, implementation, and partner engagement efforts supporting states and districts administering the SAT Suite of Assessments. As digital transformation accelerates, our work increasingly centers on scalable systems, strong district partnerships, and effective implementation models that ensure every student benefits from high-quality assessment insights. The Program Access team will partner closely with the Partner Success team, who own the day-to-day relationships with state accountability contract customers, to determine the needs and provide scalable support of those states in addition to districts. As part of the K-12 SAT Suite Program Management & Partner Success team, we enable customer success, reinforce the value of the SAT Suite, and strengthen College Board’s partnership with critical customers.

About the Opportunity

The Director, SAT Suite Program Success Enablement owns the strategy and outcomes for how effectively SAT Suite program and policy updates are understood, adopted, and executed by state and district customers and the teams that support them. This leader is accountable for ensuring that go-to-market launches, product changes, and policy updates translate into clear partner communication, strong field execution, and improved customer outcomes across K-12 customers.

This role goes beyond developing materials; it ensures that enablement efforts drive measurable improvements in field readiness, message consistency, and customer confidence. Reporting to the Senior Director, Program Access & Instructional Impact, this individual is a key driver of SAT Suite go-to-market success, partnering closely with Product, College Readiness Assessments (CRA), field Operations) to ensure updates lead to effective action in the field.

In this role, you will:

Own Program & Policy Enablement Outcomes (≈55%)

  • Own the end-to-end effectiveness of enablement for SAT Suite launches, feature updates, and policy changes - ensuring field teams are prepared to drive clear, accurate, and confident partner conversations

  • Translate complex product and policy shifts into strategies that result in consistent messaging, reduced confusion, and stronger partner decision-making

  • Drive alignment across Product, CRA, field Operations, and GTM stakeholders to ensure updates are communicated in ways that improve partner understanding and adoption, not just awareness

  • Hold accountability for field readiness at launch, ensuring teams can immediately and effectively act on new information in state and district contexts

  • Ensure enablement efforts lead to measurable improvements in speed to readiness, quality of execution, and partner experience

Drive Field Readiness and Execution (≈25%)

  • Ensure customer-facing teams consistently deliver high-quality, aligned messaging that strengthens credibility and trust in partner interactions

  • Own the systems and processes that enable rapid, coordinated rollout of updates, resulting in minimal disruption and maximum clarity for the field

  • Identify and close gaps in readiness that impact execution, using field feedback and performance signals to drive improvements

  • Ensure that enablement directly improves the effectiveness of district and state engagement—not just internal understanding

Lead Cross-Functional Alignment for GTM Success (≈10%)

  • Serve as a central driver of alignment across Product, Sales, and CRA to ensure all external communications reinforce a unified strategy

  • Ensure sequencing and positioning of updates lead to stronger partner uptake and reduced friction in implementation

  • Influence GTM strategy by elevating field insights and ensuring enablement decisions are grounded in partner needs and behaviors

Continuously Improve Enablement Impact (≈10%)

  • Use data, field feedback, and partner signals to assess whether enablement efforts are driving desired outcomes in adoption and execution

  • Identify patterns in partner confusion, misalignment, or missed opportunities and drive changes that improve clarity and effectiveness

  • Continuously raise the bar for enablement by ensuring it leads to behavior change—how teams communicate, position, and support the SAT Suite in the field

About You

  • 5–8+ years of experience in K–12 education strategy, go-to-market enablement, partner success, or product/program communications

  • Experience translating complex product, program, or policy changes into clear, actionable messaging that supports partner-facing execution and communications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop executive-ready narratives and drive clarity across diverse stakeholders

  • Experience supporting or enabling partner-facing teams (e.g., Sales & Field teams) in ways that improve consistency and effectiveness of external engagement

  • Ability to manage and improve recurring communication cadences and systems across multiple stakeholder groups

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to align stakeholders and drive coordinated execution

  • Demonstrated commitment to educational equity and improving student outcomes

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, including the ability to use data and feedback to continuously improve enablement impact

  • Willingness to travel 6+ times per year for internal or customer-facing forums, conferences, and events

Exceptional candidates can effectively speak to:

  • 10–12+ years leading enablement, go-to-market strategy, or program implementation, with a track record of improving field readiness, execution quality, and partner adoption in K–12, edtech, or large-scale product ecosystems

  • Content-specific and technical expertise (e.g., messaging strategy, enablement systems, instructional or assessment knowledge, data analysis, or communication tools)

All roles at College Board require:

  • A passion for expanding educational and career opportunities and mission-driven work

  • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer

  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for emerging technologies, with a willingness to experiment with and adopt new AI-driven solutions and a comfort learning and applying new digital tools independently and proactively

  • Clear and concise communication skills, written and verbal

  • A learner's mindset and a commitment to growth: welcoming diverse perspectives, giving and receiving timely, respectful feedback, and continuously improving through iterative learning and user input

  • A drive for impact and excellence: solving complex problems, making data-informed decisions, prioritizing what matters most, and continuously improving through learning, user input, and external benchmarking

  • A collaborative and empathetic approach: working across differences, fostering trust, and contributing to a culture of shared success

About Our Process

  • Application review will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. This role is expected to accept applications for a minimum of 5 business days

  • While the hiring process may vary, it generally includes: resume and application submission, recruiter phone/video screen, hiring manager interview, performance exercise such as live coding, a panel interview, a conversation with leadership and reference checks
